Organizational Economics

The Barcelona GSE Summer Forum Workshop on Organizational Economics will run for 2 days and will take place online on June 17-18, 2021.

Organizational Economics uses economic modeling and empirical analysis, combined with a deep understanding of legal and political institutions, to understand the performance, design, and governance of organizations, including fundamental topics such as the boundaries of firms, coordination and motivation systems, relational contracting, and the role of managers.

We will welcome empirical and theoretical submissions of frontier research in all of the current topics of this field. We invite submissions from experienced researchers as well as promising young scholars in the field. A non-exhaustive list of relevant topics is: Relational contracts; Theory of the Firm; Incomplete Contracts; Internal Organization and Incentive Systems; Management practices, Leadership and Organizational Culture; Business Law and Economics.
